Dear Violet Reader,

I have been reaching out to all Violet Contributors, advertisers, and readers to announce that I am ceasing production of the Magazine after 3 years. I really appreciate everyone's support over the past few years, but I had a tough decision to make regarding the continuation of the magazine. I came to the conclusion that I needed to change the format, as well as take on a new business partner to take educating women in our area to a new level.

Please be assured this is not a case of a shrinking Violet, but rather a metamorphosis. Something very exciting is happening behind the scenes! We are hard at work planning an incredible magazine, Capital Woman, packed with useful information. Our motto is more time, more energy, more fun, and who doesn't need that!

Along with our magazine, we will be launching an interactive website with the support of Melissa Ward, of NewWard Development, LLC™, to feature content from the magazine, a marketplace, seminars, blogs, and more.
